The Spirit of Christmas
Most any nativity set includes figures of Mary, Joseph, and (of course!) the baby Jesus. Bigger sets include shepherds, wise men, and perhaps an angel. But virtually every nativity set is missing one of the most important characters in the whole story of Jesus’s birth: the Holy Spirit. This Advent season, we’ll listen to Gospel authors like Matthew and Luke tell us what an important role the Holy Spirit played in the birth of Jesus.
